Wedding photo and video sharing websites
How do they work?
Video: How Your Photo Sharing and Video Sharing Website Works
About a week after we get your digital wedding cameras back, we create a
wedding photo and video sharing website containing all of the pictures
and videos from your wedding. We'll then email you a personalized digital invitation
to your website that you can easily forward to all of your guests. It looks like
this:
That's it. No need to register. No passwords to remember. You, your family, and
your friends just view, download, print, and share as many of the pictures and videos
from your wedding as you'd like for free.
And don’t worry, when we’re building your website, we filter out any embarrassing
or inappropriate pictures, so that all of your friends and family can enjoy your
website. We’ll also send you the “un-cut” version of your website on CDs, for free,
about a week after your site goes up. And of course, you can remove and add as many
photos as you would like. Finally, we also make sure that all the pictures and videos
are properly rotated for easy viewing and sharing
How will people know about mine?
Your family and friends will know where and when to see the pictures and videos
from your wedding thanks to the free information cards and a free personalized email
invitation included in your All Inclusive Wedding Photography Package.
Before your wedding you'll find information cards you give to your family and friends
inside the prepaid mailing case your digital wedding cameras are delivered in. These
are great to include in thank you cards or to pass out at your wedding because they
tell your family and your friends how to view, download, print, and share all of
your pictures and videos for free.
In addition, after the wedding we'll email you a personalized email invitation to
your website that you can easily forward to all of your family and all of your friends.
It looks like this:
When you, your family, and your friends get to your site, there is no need to register
and no passwords to remember. You, your family, and your friends just view, download,
print, and share as many of the pictures and videos from your wedding as you'd like
for free. Click here to see a sample wedding photo and video sharing website
How long will mine exist?
As long as you would like. Every All Inclusive Wedding Photography Package
includes a month of hosting for your wedding photo and video sharing website, and you
can extend this period for as long as you would like. The longer your website is
up, the more time you, your family, and your friends will have to view, download,
print, and share all of the memories from your wedding for free. Not to mention
the peace of mind of having your memories stored safely on our servers.
Six months of additional hosting is only $24.95. A full year of additional hosting
is only $44.95.
Is registration required?

them for less money than my sister spent on disposable cameras at her wedding."- Christina C, Bride
"Our clients absolutely loved the cameras and used them throughout the entire wedding
weekend - easy, eco-friendly, and a great value, we will be recommending CameraRenter
to all of our clients."- Travis M, Winner of Seattle
Bride Magazine's Best Wedding Planner Award and CEO, True Colors Events
"What a hit! Even my 2-year old granddaughter had a blast taking pictures. We also
used them at the brunch the next day to open gifts. This is such a neat thing!"- Ruth L, Mother of the Bride

"CameraRenter offers an exciting and valuable service to the wedding party. You
can capture those special and impromptu moments, share with friends and family,
and not have to worry about getting your pictures "developed". And all the while
being eco-friendly by doing away with the disposable cameras. Jonathan and the other

Mark W, founder, WedNet.com
"CameraRenter is the most useful, innovative, and eco-friendly photography service
I've seen in the last ten years. If you want to remember and share the candid moments
before, during, and after your wedding, CameraRenter is the way to go."-
David P, CEO, WedNet.com
"Being a photographer, I'm all about taking lots and lots of photos, anywhere and
everywhere! For weddings and parties I love the concept of adding to the photographic
fun with disposable cameras set out for your guests, but unfortunately, the reality
of what happens next isn't all that great. Paying to get lots and lots of prints
made, throwing out all those camera bodies and non album-worthy photos, trying to
figure out how to share the pictures with your guests... not so fun and not so eco-friendly.
Fortunately, with all the new digital options out there, there is an easier way!
"- Christy W, Co-Owner/Co-Founder, junebugweddings.com
and Positive
Light Photography
"It was quite cool. A set of fully insured digital wedding cameras were delivered
to the resort, then all the event guests used the digital wedding cameras for the
whole weekend. CameraRenter then created a website with the pictures and videos.
The digital wedding cameras were easy to use and took great pictures, and the website
solves the issue of your guests never actually sending you any of the pictures they
take!"- Christopher P, Director of Marketing and Public
Relations,
Rosario Resort & Spa
"What a cool, eco-friendly way to capture your big day!"-
Kate H, Owner/Author,
TheGreenBrideGuide.com and
The Green Bride Guide
"Our experience working with Jonathan (at CameraRenter) was great. We enjoyed using
the digital wedding cameras, seems like everyone at the wedding did too. The photos
came out really nice."-
Erin D, Bride
"Jonathan was wonderful to work with. Everything arrived as promised and early.
Packaging on the return was easy and the cameras arrived in great condition, pre
programmed to our specifications. Our event was a HIT!"-
Julie D, Executive Assistant
"We used CameraRenter at a work function and then as our photographer for our wedding
reception. It was so easy and fun and a great option for photos."-
Karina P, Private Dining Manager, Tap House Grill
"With my being so busy taking care of the guests and my closest family too, I would
never have been able to catch so many great shots & video. I would never have
the time to print out the pictures from a regular camera, scan them, upload them,
send them to my guests, and so on. The memories would just sit there for forever.
Who wants to scan a million photos on top of all that comes with post party details
(thank you cards etc.) after putting so much work into the event already? Getting
to enjoy the photos so quickly was amazing. Thank you!"-
Tirzah F, Director of Catering, Rosario Resort & Spa
"Easy non-stressfull process to get guest involved in taking pictures and easy to
share."- Melissa E & Sean W, Bride and Groom
"My company Expo NW used CameraRenter’s service during our Latin Bridal Expo, my
experience was excellent. Communication with customer service was also excellent
at every step of the process. The online web access was amazing; we were able to
refer all our vendors and attendees to the website for their viewing pleasure. I
will certainly use CameraRenter’s services again and recommend them to all my contacts."- Blanca T, CEO, Expo NW
"CameraRenter allowed us to capture our wedding through the eyes of our guests.
While we are thrilled with the results from our official photographer, it's the
images and video our guests took that completes the story leading up to, during
and following the wedding. Turning the cameras loose with the family was the best
thing we could have done, as it produced great memories of the family "I do" Dash
5K run/walk, kayaking, singing karaoke, setting up, the ceremony and the reception.
And with CameraRenter's quick trunaround, we not only relived the moments the next
day via the cameras, but online as well a week later."-
Lincoln and Corina, Groom and Bride
"CameraRenter is a great photography option for any upscale or casual event. Renting
digital wedding cameras from CameraRenter is the easiest way to capture and share
every aspect of your special events from the eyes of the people that will make them
special. CameraRenter found that sweet spot between disposable cameras and professionals,
and it’s truly a great service."- Don B., Events Director,
Columbia Tower Club
"I highly recommend CameraRenter to anyone looking to provide a fun way to capture
memories of their wedding. I handed out the cameras at the beginning of week to
each family and by the end of the week we had an assortment of photos that showed
different points of view of our wedding. It also made it easy for our international
guests to see pictures and relive the moments though they live so far away."- Jocelyn E., Bride
"We are so happy that we used CameraRenter for our wedding. Everyone had a great
time with the cameras taking artistic shots and most importantly, the guests captured
an incredible amount that was missed by us and the photographer the day of the wedding.
I cannot tell you how thankful I am to have had the photos from CameraRenter. It
was so easy to order and use, it was well worth it. Thank you CamerRenter!"- Justina and Justin, Bride and Groom
Why CameraRenter
With a million things on your mind, you may be wondering why you need CameraRenter
at your event. CameraRenter is quickly becoming a must-have for all events for three
simple reasons:
- Pictures and videos are pointless if nobody sees them
It is important that you and your guests actually see the pictures and videos taken
before, during, and after your event. For example, think about the last event you
were at where the guest used disposable cameras or their own digital wedding cameras.
How many pictures from that event have you seen? How many pictures from that event
have your family or your friends seen?
- Professionals can't capture everything
Once-in-a-lifetime memories will be made when your profession photographer or videographer
is not around. How will you capture and share all of these memories? Or what about
the behind-the-scenes memories that only your guests can capture? Click here to read more.
- Nothing about your event is disposable
You wouldn't give your guests paper plates, so don't give them paper cameras. Also,
disposable cameras are called disposable for a reason. They are disposed of. Nothing
about the easy, elegant, and eco-friendly digital wedding cameras you rent is disposable
and your pictures and videos are digital.
Pictures are Pointless if Nobody Sees Them
Some people ask: If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it, did
it make a sound? We ask: If a picture is taken at an event and nobody sees it, is
there actually a picture? :)
In all seriousness, think about the last special event you were at. And think about
all the pictures that were taken, pictures everyone took with their digital wedding
cameras or disposable cameras. Now think about how many of those candid shots you,
your family and friends have seen?
The memories from your event are much too important to suffer this fate. You should
know that you and your guests will be able relive and share all of the memories
from your event. And this should be easy and free.
With your
wedding photo and video sharing website you will know that you and your guests
can view, download, print, and share all of the pictures and videos from your event
without leaving the comfort of home for free. No need to register. No passwords
to remember. Just you and your guests remembering and sharing everything from all
of the digital wedding cameras you rented.
Professionals can't capture everything
Your professional photographer and videographer will beautifully capture a few hours
from your wedding day.
What about everything else?
Your event is much too important for anything to be missed, and your event will
take place over days, not hours. So how can you make sure that none of the once-in-a-
lifetime memories from your event are missed? One professional certainly can't do
this, and neither can disposable cameras.
Imagine having the people who will be making all those once-in-a-lifetime memories
capture them. Imagine having your family and your friends capture candid shots before,
during, and after your wedding; from the rehearsal dinner, to the get-together the
day after, and all of the memories in-between. After all, who better to capture
the candid memories before, during, and after your event then the people who make
them?
An easy, elegant, and Eco-Friendly alternative to disposable cameras
Nothing about your event is disposable. Not the plates, not the silverware, and
definitely not the cameras.
When you give out disposable cameras, you get disposable pictures. You get what
you give. It's that simple. Because disposable cameras are disposable, guests treat
them like they are disposable. So they sit unused or are used to take three or four
disposable pictures of the floor.
And then what do you do with the three or four pictures that are taken? Are you
going to take a pillow case full of mostly unused disposable camera to the neighborhood
drug store, get triplicates prints made (because you know Aunt Sally will want copies),
address and stamp envelopes, mail them out, and then pay the thousand dollar credit
card bill for the few prints that actually turn out? And let's not forget about
the fact that all these disposable cameras (and the batteries in them) are disposed
of along with all the prints that did not turn-out. What a waste of time and resources!
Chances are you don't have the time for all of this. But what about the memories?!
What if you could give your family, and your friends easy, elegant,
eco-friendly Polaroid 5.3 megapixel digital wedding cameras with large 2.5"
screens? You'd get a lot of great pictures and videos. The key here is "a lot,"
"great," and "videos." Each of the digital wedding cameras you rent takes over 450
pictures, has a large 2.5" previewing screen, and records video and audio. Each
of these things is impossible with disposable cameras.
And what if after your event, you, your family, and your friends could view, download,
print, and share all of the pictures and videos for free without leaving the comfort
of home. And what if none of your family or friends had to hassle with registering
or remembering passwords? Well, you, your family, and your friends would be
eco-friendly and miss nothing and remember everything from your event easily
and elegantly.
Why rent digital wedding cameras instead of buying disposable cameras?
Short Answer: Disposable cameras take disposable pictures, and nothing about your
event is disposable. Also, you wouldn't give your guests disposable silverware,
so don't give them disposable cameras.
Longer Answer: We've all seen disposable cameras set-out on the tables at events.
The idea: capture fun, candid memories from the eyes of the people who make your
special day so special. The idea is great. Who better to capture all of the fun,
candid memories from your reception than the people who will make it special? What
better way to make sure you remember everything from the best day of your life than
to have family and friends serve as a fleet of photographers and videographers?
The issue is not with the idea; it's with the disposable cameras.
CameraRenter has taken the idea behind disposables and married it with digital wedding
cameras and online picture and video sharing so that you actually can remember and
share everything before, during, and after your event.
But before we get into all that, let's talk a bit about disposable cameras.
Disposable Cameras: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
The Good
The good of disposable cameras is the idea. Give cameras to your friends and your
family and get back hundreds of fun, candid memories that you will cherish for the
rest of your life. Brilliant!
At least theoretically.
The Bad
The cameras. They are disposable. They take disposable pictures. But nothing about
your event is disposable! Not the plates, not the forks, and definitely not the
cameras. But because the cameras are disposable, guests treat them like they are
disposable and you get pictures that are disposable.
When you give your guests disposable cameras, you get disposable pictures. You get
what you give. It's that simple.
The Ugly
The ugly of disposable cameras is what you do with them after your event. Let's
face it. Pictures don't develop themselves, and they definitely don't mail themselves
to your friends and your family.
Let's say you luck out and some of your friends and family do a great job taking
pictures with the disposable cameras. Now what? You take a pillow case full of disposable
cameras to the picture store, get triplicates made (because you know Aunt Sally
will want copies), address and stamp envelopes, and then pay the credit card bill
for the hundreds of dollars you spent hoping that the prints turn out?!
Chances are you don't have the time for all of this. But what about the memories?
There's Hope: Rent Digital Wedding Cameras From CameraRenter
All that said it's really hard to give-up the chance of hundreds of candid memories
from the eyes of your friends and family. So don't. Renting digital wedding cameras
from CameraRenter does what disposable cameras are supposed to do. It combines digital
wedding camera rental with automatic online picture and video sharing. Think of
it like a personalized version of Netflix, Flickr, and YouTube.
Here's How CameraRenter Works:
All that said it's really hard to give-up the chance of hundreds of candid memories
from the eyes of your friends and family. So don't. Renting digital wedding cameras
from CameraRenter does what disposable cameras are supposed to do. It combines digital
wedding camera rental with automatic online picture and video sharing. Think of
it like a personalized version of Netflix, Flickr, and YouTube.
- Get digital wedding cameras
You receive a set of fully insured
rented digital wedding cameras delivered in a prepaid mailing case (like
Netflix, but with digital wedding cameras instead of DVDs).
- Give digital wedding cameras
You, your family, and your friends have a great time capturing all the once-in-a-lifetime
moments before, during, and after your event (like disposable cameras"but with better
cameras that also record video).
- Remember everything
You, your family, and your friends view download, print, and share all of the pictures
and videos from all of the digital wedding cameras you rented for free from your
wedding photo and video sharing website (like Flickr and YouTube).
The Good
You want a way for your friends and family to capture a lot of candid memories.
Giving them rented digital wedding cameras that can take hundreds of pictures, video,
and have those nifty screens on the back that let them preview the pictures is a
great way to make sure that happens.
The cameras are not disposable, so neither are the pictures (or in this case, pictures
and videos).
The Better
Everyone sees all of the pictures. Yes...many of your guests will have their own
digital wedding cameras. But how many times have you been at an event and asked
someone with their own digital wedding camera "Could you print doubles?" or "Could
you please send me a copy of this picture?" and never see the picture? And that's
just the one or two pictures you asked for. What about all the other pictures that
were taken? And let's not get started on how this would work for videos.
Renting digital wedding cameras will take care of that. You just stick the digital
wedding cameras back in the pre-paid mailing case after your event, and in about
a week all of the pictures and videos from all of the digital wedding cameras are
up on your wedding photo and video sharing website where your friends and your family
can view, download, print, and share them for free. That's right. All your guests
can view, download, print, and share all of the pictures and videos for free. Everyone
enjoys everything for free.
After all, what good are cameras -disposable or digital- if nobody sees the pictures
and videos they take?
The Best
Renting digital wedding cameras is a lot more elegant and eco-friendly than disposable
cameras.
When's the last time you've been at an event where you were provided with a digital
wedding camera? Seems like a nice elegant touch. Also, the digital wedding cameras,
shipping materials, and batteries are reused, and everything is digital so everyone
only prints the pictures they really want. That's green. And green is good.
After all, what good are cameras -disposable or digital- if nobody sees the pictures
and videos they take?
Wrapping It Up
On the day of your event, you will have a million things on your mind. The days
after your event you will have one thing on your mind: remembering and sharing everything
from it. Despite their limitations, disposable cameras play a key role in that.
CameraRenter's digital wedding camera rental service stands-up where disposable
cameras fall down and picks-up where disposables cameras leave off.
How to get the most out of your CameraRenter digital wedding cameras?
Six Simple Ways To Miss Nothing and Remember Everything From the Best Days of Your
Life
- Give Your Digital Wedding Cameras and Batteries out Before, During, and After Your
Event
Each of the digital wedding cameras you rent takes over 450 pictures and your All Inclusive Event Package provides
complimentary backup batteries, so don't just use your cameras during your event.
Instead, give them to family and friends before, during, and after your event.
- Backup Your Backup Batteries
Each digital wedding camera that you rent comes with batteries and backup batteries,
and it's a great idea to have backups for the backups for those guests who really
enjoy snapping pictures. This is quick and easy, as regular double AA batteries
are all you need.
- Have a Few Guests Get Things Started
Once a few people start snapping pictures using your digital wedding cameras, it
will catch-on like wildfire. Before you know it, everyone will be capturing everything.
- Have Your DJ/MC Make an Announcement
At the start of your event, have your DJ/MC announce something like: Be sure to
use the digital wedding cameras provided by (your name) so we can all view, download,
and print each other's pictures for free at (your name)'s website.
- Give-Out Your Instruction Cards to All of Your Guests
If anyone is going to hand-out anything, make sure they hand-out the instruction
cards included with your event package. This way your guests will know how to view,
download, and print, all of the pictures and videos from all of the digital wedding
cameras you rented for free.
- Forward Your Email Invitation to All of Your Family and Friends
About a week after we receive your digital wedding cameras, we'll email you an invitation
to your
wedding photo and video sharing website. Be sure to forward your email
invitation to all of your guests. This is a quick, easy, and free way to make sure
that your family and friends relive all the memories they helped you make.
